Tonight we shared the September 2025 Paper Pumpkin, Fall For Toile. Love this kit! We used the card bases from the kit to cut in half and create 2 cards from one base. This worked well since the front and back of the card bases were the same. 🙂
Next for this first one I cut the base into 2 pieces of 4” x 5 1/4” Added it to a Cajun Craze base and then created the card like the example in the kit.
For this card I attached the other piece from the first card to an Early Espresso card base. Then added the ribbon and tore the cardstock. Layering the white torn edge over the piece I tore off. I CASED this technique from Rachel Tessman.
Rebecka created this like the example in the kit, except she cut the card base down (so she can make 2 from one) and layered it on Cajun craze.
Here Rebecka used a Pecan Pie Card Base and the other half of the card above is attached on the front. Then she used those 1/4” strips left from cutting the card bases down to create this cool feature. She even used the negative piece left from punching out the leaf die cuts, to give a little sparkle.
Fun Fold! I love a Fun Fold, this one is an Easel card. (Thanks Jayne for the idea!) Take a 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” card base and score at 4 1/4” and 2 1/8”. Just like making a Z-fold except you fold the score into the card instead of away. I I used the card base from the third card in the kit to layer on the front and inside. I used the circle with a double layer of Dimensionals to work as the “stopper” to hold the card up. Too cute!
