Stampin’ Up Watercoloring

July 4, 2022 Leave a Comment

July is World Watercolor Month, and we have lots of Stampin Up watercoloring products to celebrate! Pencils, paper, stamps, and more. So, Rebecka and I created a couple of watercolor projects on Spontaneous Sunday Stamping.

It’s time to share watercoloring with the world!

Rebecka’s card features the Simply Succulent set. She stamped her images in versamark and used Black embossing powder. Then heat embossed with the Heat tool. She also used the Water Painters along with several ink refills to achieve these beautiful colors.

Measurements: Soft Succulent base 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” , Basic Black 4” x 5 1/4”, Shimmery White 3 3/4” x 5”

Ink Refills: Blackberry Bliss, Petal Pink, Soft Succulent, Mint Macaron. She also used the Pearlized Enamel Effects to create the small black dots.

Next up is my card. I featured the Happiness Abounds and watercoloring. First I used Staz-On ink to stamped my images. Then I stamped then used the ink in the lid of the ink pads with the water painters. You can squeeze the ink pad lid and then when you open it you will have a small puddle of ink to work with. You can also add a few drops of refill to the lid. For a lighter color use more water, for more concentrated color use less . The small pearly white dot embellishments were created by squeezing the Pearlized Enamel Effects directly onto a Mini Glue Dot. Allow to dry the use as desired.

Measurements: Kraft Note Cards, Pearlescent Specialty Paper behind the front flap. The ”Floof” was made by ”pulling ” the thread from the ribbon and using all the pretty gold threads to make a Floof Bow.

Pearlized Enamel Effects

These are so pretty. You can use them to fill in a space for a pearly look. Drop some on your Silicone mat, allow to dry them you can add to your projects. Plus you can use them to cover the Mini Glue Dots, allow to dry then you have a pretty embellishment with adhesive already on the back, Voila! You can find them here.
