Hello Stampin’ Friends!
On Spontaneous Sunday Stamping last night we created 2 beautiful cards. We used the ever so popular Angled Gate Fold or some are calling it the Angled Trifold. Either way it is such a Fun Fold and not as hard as it looks, unless of course you are trying to demonstrate it Live! Lol!
If you are new here every Sunday at 7:30 pm central Rebecka (my daughter, best friend & team member) hop on FB Live (HERE) and stamp with you! We tend to be pretty spontaneous, hence the name of our show. We laugh, bicker, make mistakes but always end of with pretty cards. We hope we inspire you to create and not be afraid to try new things or to make mistakes. Pop over and Follow my FB page so you don’t miss us next week.
Rebecka’s Card
If you watched the video then you know we had some cutting issues, lol. But look how pretty it turned out. This Angled Gate Fold is quickly becoming a favorite. We both used the Hues of Happiness DSP and Rebecka used Night of Navy for her base. We made use of our ”Bowl of Goodness” for both cards. If you don’t have a Bowl of Goodness you really need one.
A Bowl of Goodness is where we store little bits, leftovers or sometimes things we cut ahead of time to use in a crunch. Tonight we had a bowl full of Hues of Happiness flowers from another SPontaneous Sunday Stamping where we showed how you can use the Dies to cut the DSP. (Designer Series Paper)
I even spy a leaf piece from Splendid Day.
Lisa Marie’s Card
Same Hues of Happiness DSP but I used Pool Party for my card base, the Bowl of Goodness and i spy a gold sprig from the Bough Punch. Oh, and the beautiful Brushed Brass Butterflies, they are on sale until September 7th. Grab yours HERE.
Instructions:
Personally I learn best watching someone else show me, so recommend watching the video. You can scrub through to about the point. This is where we start working on the Angled Gate Fold. We usually chat a bit at the beginning and this week we had lots of SU! info to share too. You can also grab your FREE Recipe cards below. I have given measurements and a brief explanation. Feel free to reach out to me if you need help.
