Today I used the brand new (doesn’t release until 9/4/2019) Harvest Hellos. I love the versatility, you can make an Apple, Pumpkin, Jack O’ Lantern etc.. all with one punch. And I LOVE Punches!!!
You may know I do a series called Cards in the Car. Our youngest, Alissa (you will hear me chat about her a lot) has a Brain Injury, Autism, Epilepsy, Ehlers Danlos, Fibromyalgia and an Immune disorder. She has several therapy appointments each week and recently she started volunteering at Emerald Coast Autism Center (which she graduated from several years ago!). Well, all of this means I spend a lot of time waiting for her … in the car. So, in January our oldest, Rebecka (Occupational Therapist & SU! demonstrator, click her name to see her blog) and I were trying to figure out what I could do during all of this time. It’s like 8 hours a week and I have to stay near by. We decided I needed a way to stamp in the car and share with all of you! I seriously went to the store that night and bought a phone mount for my car (so I wouldn’t chicken out). After stamping on top of my Simply Scored board on my lap a few times, Rebecka found a cool car table that attaches to the steering wheel. Bam! Cards in the Car was born!
You can stamp anywhere!!
Ok, back to the cards. I originally created the plaid pumpkin on the left. Chuck (aka ME) didn’t like it at all and Rebecka wasn’t in love with it so I chose another design from the same pack of DSP.
I have to admit I do like the Polka Dot designs on the right better. But I don’t hate the other one, lol.
Which do you like better? Plaid or Dots?? Leave your pick in the comments below, it’s ok you won’t hurt my feelings, lol.
