Creative Stamper’s Mega Tutorial Blog Hop

September 2, 2020 5 Comments

Hello Stampin’ Friends!

Today I am participating in the awesome Creative Stamper’s Mega Tutorial Blog Hop. We will be showcasing additional projects that coordinate with our Mega Sept/Oct Tutorial. The Mega tutorial is yours FREE when you place an order of $22 or more in my store this month . If you want to see past tutorials available for purchase click here.

For today’s project I created an adorable Gift Card Holder with one of our Rectangle Tins, it will coordinate nicely with my Creative Stamper’s Mega Tutorial. I love giving gift cards especially in adorable packaging!

For the lid I simply cut the Gilded Autumn DSP and attached with Tear N Tape. The sentiment is stamped on Mint Macaron with Early Espresso Ink and will be attached with Dimensionals. Next I wrapped the Mint Basket Weave Ribbon around the lid and tied a bow. The super cute Acorn Trinket is hanging from the Metallic ribbon that comes in a combo pack with the Mint Basket Weave ribbon, Score! I love when you get two yummy ribbons in one package.

Here, for the inside I use the same DSP and even made a little pocket for the gift card. Since I wanted the ribbon to wrap round the lid I had to do a little stamping surgery. Do you know what I did here? I wrapped and tied ribbon, unfortunately it sat too loose. Therefore, I snipped the ribbon and glued the ends under the DSP. Nice trick, huh?

Measurements & supplies

Gilded Autumn DSP 2 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ (top & inside) Pocket: 1′ x 3 3/4″

Mint Macaron Cardstock: scrap for sentiment

Timeless Label Punch

Early Espresso Ink
