Happy Wednesday!
Crazy busy this week prepping for the Under the Sea with Lisa Marie & Me, a Creative Escape. This is a one day retreat we are doing on March 17th, ten days away. Eeek!! Yesterday Mom & I drove to Destin, well with all the rain we had I could have taken a boat! lol Seriously, we were soaked just going from my garage to the car!
Anyway, went to pick up a few things for next Saturday. Today, Valerie & I made a couple special treats for each of the attendees joining us next week. (I can’t wait to show you…but not until after the event. we can’t ruin the surprise!)
So, in honor of all that rain we had yesterday I will share this adorable Weather Together card that I CASED from my sweet friend Jamie.
I spritzed the Shimmery White cardstock with water, sprinkled the Prussian Blue Brusho, then Spritzed with water again. After it dried (you can use your heat tool) I ran it through the Big Shot using the Softly falling Embossing folder. Then I lightly rubbed the “bumps” from the embossing folder with sand paper. This removed some of the blue making it look like rain.
The Umbrella was colored using the Yellow Brusho and my Aqua Painter.
