Thank you for stopping by my blog. One again I have joined Kylie’s Monthly Blog Hop so I can share lots of awesome projects from a bunch of Amazing demonstrators from all around the world. For my project I have used the Lovely Lily Pad along with the Lily Pad Dies plus the sentiment is from Perfectly Framed from the new Mini catalog. Lovely Lily Pad & Lily Pad Dies are from the Sale A Bration catalog. Which means you can earn them FREE! I don’t know about you but I Love FREE Stampin’ Up products.
For the background I used Shimmery White Cardstock that I sponged Night of Navy, Blueberry Bushel and Highland Heather inks. I love using the Shimmery white, of course because of the Shimmer, but also because the colors seems to glide onto the cardstock perfectly.
If you look close the large Lily Pad is embossed with White embossing powder. The I used Petal Pink ink to sponge color onto the Lily. Look even closer and you can water droplets. I used my Aqua Painter to do those. Actually I used two, I squeezed the pen to get the brush wet on one and then held the other one and tapped the open one on top (like tapping two sticks together) which caused the water to “flick” out onto the cardstock. Give it a minute and you will see the magic! Ooo and did you notice the awesome Scalloped & Stitched rectangle? Ahhhh, I love all things stitched but the scallop sends it over the top! This comes from the new Stitched So Sweetly Dies in the Mini Catalog. Sprinkle some Champagne rhinestones and add gorgeous ribbon and you have a lovely card!
