Spontaneous Sunday Stamping 9/6/2020
Hello Stamping Frineds,
Join Rebecka & I and learn to make pyramid & triangle cards with us during our Spontaneous Sunday Stamping from 9/6/2020.
Last night on Spontaneous Sunday Stamping, Rebecka & I shared how to make two super cute Fun Fold Cards. We had a request to make Triangle cards so these are two cards we created. I created a Triangle card and Rebecka did a cool Pyramid 3-d card that even fits in an A-4 envelope.
The Request
A sweet viewer requested the triangle cards. As many of you know Rebecka and I tend to create very similar cards even when we are not together, I guess that happens you have have know someone their entire life! For those that don’t know Rebecka is my daughter and bestest friend besides my sweet hubby, Chuck. Anyway, we both saw the request early in the day and thought we would be slick and have a plan (gasp! We are suppose to be Spontaneous!) and surprise each other. Once we realized we were both trying to out wit the other then we began to worry. What if we had the same came? We started asking each other questions , we were both super nervous, what if they were the same? Who would have to come up with a new plan? Who would be it be, Mother or Daughter??
As you can see we did NOT create the same card. Phew! It was close though. We both had considered the others design. So, glad Rebecka didn’t have to recreate her design! It would have been totally funny to have the same/similar cards but I would have felt terrible for her! Lol
The Cards
Here is my triangle card. I completely forgot to take a picture of the card opened! So you will have to imagine for a moment, or watch the video below. See the two different background papers, aka Designer Series Paper? The leaf and acorns open straight up and the brown pattern opens to the left, two triangles! Definitely watch the video, it will make way more sense.
The Video
Rebecka’s Pyramid card. Isn’t it Stinkin’ Cute?? And she has a great hack for holding the pyramid closed, hint: watch the video. I love that this lays flat and fits in an envelope too!
