Stampin Up! Curved Occasions

Hello! Guess what? I was able to load the FB Live Replay to YouTube tonight. Scroll down a bit to watch. I think next week we will try doing our Spontaneous Sunday Stamping directly from YouTube. FB is making me super crazy! Lol Anyway, Rebecka and I decided to create with a brand new set , Stampin’ Up! Curved Occasions. It will be available Sept. 6, 2023 in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

We have seen a few cards with this cute little car and the creators made it look like a Barbie car, which we thought was pretty clever! So, we decided to make our own version.

Barbie’s Ride

First card up is Rebecka’s Barbie car. I love how she used the Rays of Light stamp set for her background. If you look closely she used the adorable Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs, also new in the Holiday Mini Catalog. They come in 5 gorgeous colors and are suer flat making them perfect for mailing.

Polka Dot Car

I totally think Barbie would be happy to drive my Berry Burst Polka Dot car. I did a little paper piecing on the car. I stamped the car on the polka dot DSP in black, then I cut out the body of the car. Leaving out the tires and windshield. Next I stamped the car in black on white cardstock and attached the polka dot piece to it.

Roller Disco

It’s not pink but these roller skates so made me think of Barbie! Check out the fab Disco Ball too! I used the Brights DSP in Azure Afternoon, which is my new favorite blue.
