Spontaneous Sunday Stamping was fun tonight! Rebecka and I decided to create spinner cards using the Friendly Fins Bundle (which is on sale an extra 10% off until 6/30/2024). We also used the Curved Label punch to make the cut out portion for the “spinner.”
The Friendly Fins Bundle has some adorable images and they are Two-Step stamping! Which is one of my favorite ways to stamp. When two-step stamping you ink the more solid image in a lighter shade, then ink the more detailed image in a darker shade directly over the solid image.
Friendly Fins Spinner
Rebecka created this beauty. She die cut the coral & shell on Basic White. Then she added color ro the cardstock using Sponge Daubers. She snipped her coral in half to show that you don’t have to leave the images exactly as they are in the dies.
Friendly Fins #2
I made this one and I used colored cardstock to do die cutting of the corral, fish, shells, lobster etc.. On the coral I used a sponge dauber and the Peach Pie ink to add shading. On my spinner I found my fish were too small on the Penny so I covered my Penny with a 3/4” circle punched from the In Color DSP. My sentiment is stamped on the piece I punched out to create the spinning section using the Curved Label Punch.
