This week on Spontaneous Sunday Stamping, Rebecka and I using the Light the Year bundle from the 2024 Sept-Dec Mini Catalog. The Mini goes LIVE September 4, 2024 and there are so many great new products!
This was the first time we have used this set and we really enjoyed it. For my card I stamped directly on my white layer. I only die cut the bow and the pine cone. I wanted you to see that this set can be used without die cutting everything. I did use the masking paper to create the look that the pine needles are behind the lantern. I also used blending brushes to create the background.
Rebecka’s card is so beautiful! I never would have thought to use the Regal Winter DSP for this card, but it is perfect. The Wild Wheat addition is a great surprise, it looks more gold and works wonderfully. Rebecka also lightly sprinkled gold embossing powder all over her card and then we heated it on low starting from under the cardstock.
