On Spontaneous Sunday Stamping this week I featured the Joyful Specialty DSP and the Joy To You Stamp set. I shared how to use this gorgeous DSP and make beautiful quick cards. You watch us on YouTube every Sunday at 7:30 pm central. If you can’t make it Live you can always watch the replay!
Shaded Spruce Card
All three cards tonight are beautiful and the measurements are all the same. I picked 2 sheets of the 12” x 12” DSP and stacked them together. I then cut them at 3”, then turned the 3” x 12” strip and cut them at 4 1/4”. Leaving me 8 pieces of 3” x 4 1/4” in each of the 2 patterns. (Plus some scraps). I adhered the DSP to the Crumb Cake with Multipurpose Liquid glue. I stamped the greeting on White and punched with the Modern Oval Punch. You can attach the oval as is or you can sponge the edges or punch a Shaded Spruce oval , snip it in half and adhere to back of white oval to create a border.
This would be beautiful with just the ovals. But I decided to step it up a bit using the bough Punch, Linen Thread and Festive Pearls!
Cherry Cobbler Cards
They Cherry Cobbler cards the same Joyful DSP, same measurements etc.. for this first one I used a Sponge Dauber to brush the edges of the oval. On the next one I used the Sending Cheer Dies to cut the tag, presents and circle tag… Adorbs! Be sure to grab your FREE Recipe Card below.
