Stampin Up Craft White Ink

Spontaneous Sunday Stamping last night was super fun. Rebecka and I shared 2 ways to use the Craft White Ink Pad. Rebecka used the Friendly Hello Bundle that you can earn during Sale A Bration with an order of $100 or more. I used the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Masks, from the New Mini catalog.

Friendly Hello White Wash

Rebecka stamped the bird and flowers images on Pool Party cardstock with Night of Navy ink. Then she used a Blender Pen to pick up some Craft White ink and used ot to color the bird’s belly and flowers. You can also use the Blender Pen to “pull” some of the Night if Navy ink to lightly add some navy to the images. I love they way this card turned out. Add some leaves from the new Bough Punch and a splash of Wink of Stella and TaDa!

Layering Masks

The new Butterflies & Flowers Decorative Layering Masks are so good! They were designed for you to layer and build color. For my card I first added Misty Moonlight with the Blending Brushes with the daisy mask. I like to use Post it Tape to help hold my stencil in place. Once I have the depth of color I wanted I wiped the mask clean with a Micro Fiber cloth. Next, I lined the mask up over the first layer, then slightly offset it. Now I can use a clean Blending Brush and add Craft White ink . This creates a halo effect and makes the daisies look 3-D… So cool! Add some punched leaves from the same Bough Punch Rebecka used, unraveled the Frayed White Ribbon to create a “Floofy” Bow. Sprinkle in some embellishments and flick Wink of Stella and we have a pretty card!
