We made a few great cards on Spontaneous Sunday Stamping last night. We used the Flowering Rain Boots and Flowing Flowers stamp sets. Both of these sets feature the Distinktive style; it has a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images. Check back tomorrow for the Flowing Flowers card I made.
Rebecka used Thick Basic white for her base, 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”. The next layer is Basic Gray and is cut at 2 7/8” x 4 5/8”. Then the Basic White layer 2 3/4” x 4 1/2”, she used our amazing Blending Brushes with Basic Gray ink to create a rainy day look. She then grabbed the Simply Marbleous DSP, which you can earn FREE with a $50 order this month. She tore the DSP , brushed the edges with Basic Gray and layered onto the White. The boots are stamped on Daffodil Delight, the stems are Old Olive and the tulips are Daffodil Delight with Calypso Coral on the edges. Rebecka actually Fussy cut the image but if you order the bundle there are dies. She did use the masking technique to get the flower stem ”inside” the boots. Add a few jewels, the fabulous Pebble Enamel Shapes, and stamp the sentiment.
I love this one too! Again she used Thick Basic White 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” and then added Basic Gray layer 3 1/8” x 3 3/8”. On top of that is a 3” x 3 1/2” piece of the Simply Marbelous DSP. ON scrap white rebecka stamped the watering can in Basic Gray ink and masked the stems in Old Olive. the Daisies are stamped in Daffodil Delight and the tips are gently brushed with Calypso Coral using the Blending Brushes. Then she Fussy Cut the daisies . The can and flowers are attached with Dimensionals. Sprinkle some embellishments to finish.
Here is the one I created with the Flowering Rain Boots set. The base is Coastal Cabana, 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” and the the Night of Navy layer is 3 1/4” x 4”. The Basic White is 3” x 3 3/4”, I stamped a flower pot in Cinnamon Cider Ink, then I stamped the pot on a scrap piece and cut it out for a Mask. I laid the mask on top of the pot just slightly below the edge of the stamped image. Next I inked the pot in Cinnamon Cider , stamped it on scrap paper then stamped it to the right of the first pot and a little on the mask. Using the same mask place it on the second pot, just below the front edge of the pot. We want the stems to be inside the pot not on top of it. I used the tulip stems and inked only the smaller section with Old Olive ink and stamped. Ink the two Tulips in Calypso Coral and add to stems. Stamp the Daisies in Bumble Bee ink on scrap and fussy cut. add to pot with Dimensionals. Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy. I shaded around the pots with the Light Gray Granite Stampin Blend. Add a few Pebble enamel Shapes and a Linen Thread double bow. Oh, and a bit of Wink of Stella!
