Tonight on Spontaneous Sunday Stamping Rebecka & I created 6 cards, including a suoer quick Shaker Card! First up is the Shaker card using the Leaf Pattern & the SPotlight on Nature stamp sets from the upcoming 2024-25 Annual Catalog.
We both love making shaker cards this way, it is super easy and fun. We used a piece of White cardstock (4” x 5 1/4”) and stamped the Leaf background in Pretty Peacock. The Butterflies are from the Spotlight on Nature set, they are stamped in the new In Color, Petunia Pop and then fussy cut. Attach them with dimensionals and add a few adhesive backed embellishments. Slip the cardstock into a Stampin Up Clear envelope. Add shaker bits, seal the envelope and attach to card base using Tear & Tape. Voilà!
4 cards with 1 6×6 sheet of DSP
We used the Perennial Lavender DSP and Pretty Peacock cardstock for these. Cut the DSP to 6×6, then you will mark the back of the DSP at 1 1/2” using a ruler. You will do this on all 4 sides. (Watch the video replay) Once you have the DSP cut you can stamp your sentiment. Next you will layer them on your white cardstock then attach to card base. Embellish as desired.
Leaf Collection
I LOVE this card so much. The leaves stamped in Pretty Peacock onto Pool Party cardstock is beautiful. Add the Petunia Pop butterflies, a sentiment, and color over the leaves with Wink of Stella and you have a fabulous card. The Shimmer is stunning and the alcohol in the WInk helps moves the color a bit filling in any missed spots.
