We have a fun Tile Technique for you today. A friend of mine saw this done many, many years ago and didn’t know what it was called or how to find it. I have been looking for a long time. I finally used the right combination of keywords and voila! I thought I was going to have to stamp on the labels and then peel each one off the sheet and somehow get them spaced perfectly. Thank goodness i was wrong! Lol These are the Avery 5418 Labels, I found them on Amazon. This particular package pod labels has the labels individual but there is still paper in between them. So after you stamp, you peel away the lines in between the labels. Brilliant, right?
Before I forget, FB is not playing nice, again. So I am not able to load the Video Replay to YouTube like I usually do . But, you can view ot on my FaceBook Page here.
Seaside Bay Tile Technique
This is one of my favorite stamp sets. Our team is named the Panhandle Pearls so it is perfect for us. We used Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake ink. Layered the label sheet onto Balmy Blue then onto Crumb Cake Base. Yes, the ribbon is retired but it was so good for this card. You could easily substitute a white ribbon or even use a Balmy Blue Blend to color a white ribbon.
Fragrant Forest & Heartfelt Hexagon
This gorgeous stamp set is on the new Holiday mini Catalog and it is a background stamp. The sentiment and the punch are from an Online exclusive, Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle. I love a Punch Bundle. Heartfelt Hexagon is also one of the bundles that will be featured in the FREE World Cardmaking Day Virtual class that Stampin’ Up! is offering.
The Fragrant Forest stamp is inked with Garden Green then I “thumped” with Pretty Peacock, Pecan Pie, & Berry Burst Stampin Write Markers. Thumping is when you ink up your stamp in a color then take a Stampin’ Write Marker and tap/thump the end where you want color directly onto the stamp. Our card base is Crumb Cake and the label sheet is adhered to Pretty Peacock. A little Linen Thread Floof and we have a beautiful card.
Fragrant Forest
This is the final card we did tonight. The trees are inked in Shaded Spruce and then thumped with markers. The card base is Blackberry Bliss and the sentiment and Punch are from the Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle.
