Hello Crafty Friends!
For this week’s Spontaneous Sunday Stamping we shared the ever popular Trellis/Fence card technique. I really Love how Rebecka & I ended up creating totally different cards with the same technique. You can join us every Sunday at 7 central on my Stamp with Lisa Marie FB page.
Nature’s Harvest
I created my card using the Nature’s Harvest Bundle. This is such a great bundle. The stamps are beautiful and I love the stand alone dies. This trellis technique is pretty easy & makes such a Wow card. If you watch the replay below you will see we tried two different ways and the second one was best. You start with a 4 1/4” x 11” piece of cardstock, scored @ 5 1/2”. Next cut five to six 1/2” strips off for your Trellis strips. Using Post it tape or Washi tape you will adhere the strips. (Check out the video replay)
Sweet Citrus
Sweet Citrus bundle is sooo good, I love the Hybrid embossing folder. I can’t believe we didn’t talk about it. I think it was because I had some pieces all ready cut so we didn’t actually cut any Live. The hybrid folder allows you to cut and emboss at the same time!
While Rebecka was putting her card together our friend Jane suggested she turn her card landscape. It was perfect and added a different look with the same technique. The vellum behind Rebecka’s trellis adds a softer look. Of course we both used the Wink of Stella but Rebecka also “flicked” the Parakeet Party Stampin Blend. Oh. And she added color to the die cut lime slice using the Blending Brushes!
