This week on Spontaneous Sunday Stamping we created using the Watercolor Shapes stamp set and more! Every Sunday Rebecka and I pop on FB Live and create with you on our Spontaneous Sunday Stamping show. Join us here Sunday’s @ 7:30 pm central.
Since it is World Watercoloring Month we wanted to share an quick way to achieve a watercolor look that is super simple to do. The Watercolor Shapes stamp set makes this technique so easy .
First up is one of my cards, I used the rectangle from Watercolor Shapes with Mint Macaron ink. Next I stamped the pine needles from Decorated with Happiness in Shaded Spruce ink. I stamped the ornament on Basic White with Polished Pink ink, stamping ”off” when I stamped the inside of the ornament. When I was planning this card I wanted to use non traditional colors, Polished Pink and Mint Macaron are so good together! I am pretty sure in the video I called it Pink Passion, lol. Oops, that goes to show you how long I have been stamping!
My second card I am using the Pool Party & Soft Seafoam Cards & Envelopes from the Sale A Bration catalog. You can earn them FREE with a $50 order in July and August. When I was working on my first card I stamped and die cut extra ornaments so I decided to make my next card with the leftover pieces. First I stamped the square in Pool Party, then the small pine needle stamp from the Decorated with Happiness in Shaded Spruce. I stamped ”off” to create the lighter shade making it appear like two different colors of green . Once I had everything stamped and attached I add the gorgeous 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds. This opals are absolutely gorgeous!
Rebecka’s Cards
Trees for Sale is an adorable stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I Love how Rebecka used the square from the Watercolor Shapes set to create the outdoor scene. Those tiny little paw prints are so stinkin’ cute!!! the sweet dog was die cut using the Sale A Bration set, Tree Lot. You can earn the dies FREE in July & August.
The square is stamped in Mint Macaron and the tree & sentiment are Shaded Spruce. Next Rebecka stamped the dog in Early Espresso and die cut him. The bow is die cut in Sweet Sorbet.
I saved my favorite for last! Rebecka used the oval from the Watercolor Shapes set to create a Daisy!! I love, Love, Love it! so sweet and simple! The awesome sentiment and the fab Brass Butterflies just make this card awesome!
