Hello Friends!
Happy Easter! We missed you last week, so happy to be back! This week on Spontaneous Sunday Stamping Rebecka & I created with the new Stampin Up! Hues of Happiness. Such a Gorgeous Suite! Be sure to join us Sundays at 7:30 pm central over on my FB Page.
Rebecka’s Card
Rebecka used a Thick basic White for her card base, then she layered the New 2022-24 In Color DSP. I love how she used the ”notebook paper” die from the Blossoming Happiness dies for the edge. Before we started creating we cut the flowers and leaves straight from the Hues of Happiness DSP using the Blossoming Happiness dies. This is a great way to have those pieces ready to go whenever you are ready to create! Next she stamped her sentiment on Starry Sky, used the new 2022-24 In color Matte Dots and did our favorite technique and made Floof! Floof is when we take apart a ribbon and use the fibers to create texture and floofiness on our card. Metallic Sweet Sorbet ribbon is perfect for floof!
Lisa Marie’s Card
So, I have a habit of starting a project then making changes …. I always have partial cards on my desk. I had this Thick Basic White Slim Line card already cut and layered with the In Color DSP, so I decided to use it. First I used the flowers and leaves from the Hues of Happiness DSP that we cut out. I actually layered them on a stitched circle from the New Stylish Shapes Dies, but you can barely see it now.
Originally I was only going to add one flower but then I couldn’t help myself and ended up covering the circle. After I layered the flowers and leaves I added the Parakeet Party and Starry Sky metallic ribbon to the back, later I use my scissors to pull the ends of the fibers apart for a little ”Floof”. Found the sentiment on my desk ready to go from the Amazing Silhouette dies . I added it with mini dimensionals and used Wink of Stella on the letters. Sprinkled some of the new In color Matte Dots and Voila! This card will fit in our Slimline Envelopes.
