This week on Spontaneous Sunday Stamping we created 4 great cards using the Amazing Silhouettes stamps and Dies. We had a few technical difficulties due to weather but we were able to finish with these great cards.
For the first card Rebecka ran her Thick White card base through the Hive Embossing folder. Next she stamped the tree image on a piece of Basic white alternating Fresh Freesia and Magenta Madness. Now she grabbed the Paper Trimmer and cut the cut piece into 1/2” strips. Then she attached them to the card front with Dimensionals. Cut the THANKS with the Amazing Thanks Dies. We loved using the adhesive sheets when cutting these to make layering them easier.
One of my favorite things is to unravel ribbon. Here Rebecka used the Frayed White Ribbon. I had some already unraveled on our desk. She scrunched it and attached it under the sentiment. Sprinkle some Matte Dots, Voila!
I created this one but I took a 4” x 5 1/4” piece of basic white and ran it through the Macrame embossing folder and then attached to my Thick White card-front with dimensionals. Next I stamped the tree image with Pale Papaya and Bermuda Bay inks. Then I cut that into 3/4” strips. I attached the strips by alternating between Dimensionals and Liquid glue. I stamped my sentiment on Pale Papaya, embossing with White Powder and cut out with the Pretty Pillbox Dies . Add ribbon and sprinkle Incolor jewels.
Slimline
We love Slimline cards! For the next two cards we are sharing how to cut and use all of the Thick White to create 2 cards.
Cut Thick white at 7 1/2” on the long side. Then score at 3 1/2”. The leftover piece will create the second card (below). We used the Sunshine & Rainbows (FREE) DSP by cutting it into strips. Some are 1/2” x 3” , 3/4” x 3”, whatever you want! On this card the DSP is attached with Dimensionals. Cut out sentiment and attach to Bermuda Bay card stock, attach with Dimensionals, sprinkle Embellishments.
This one uses the leftover from cutting the Slimline (above). The DSP strip are attached with Liquid glue and the sentiment is attached with Dimensionals. Add Embellishments!
We hope you enjoyed these cards! If you don’t have a Demonstrator I would love to help you place your order and answers any questions.
